The central two-story administration building, with its tiled roof, was built in 1905, and is similar to most of the Hijaz Railway station buildings. The ground floor was used for offices and ticket sales, and the second floor housed the station master’s family. At present, the building serves as the offices of Kinneret Academic College’s Land of Israel Studies (undergraduate and graduate), and houses two research institutes and researchers’ offices, devoted mainly to studying the various issues and periods of the Land of Israel.
