The Platelayers’ House

This two-story building was built during the British Mandate period, and served as residence and rest areas for the platelayers and other workers. The building was changed over the years, and was finally restored in 2015. Today, the building houses two classrooms, as well as archeological findings from various periods. One of the classrooms is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Adam Zertal, who was a senior staff member of the Land of Israel Studies department.
